Announcement: The Bible Institute at Raiwaqa would like to announce the completion of their program in Suva, Fiji. The final classes were completed on Friday, 26 July 2024. The school will officially cease all operations by Saturday, 31 August 2024. Therefore, this serves as an announcement that the Bible Institute at Raiwaqa will no longer be accepting students for enrollment.
The Director, Rocco Pierce, and the Academic Dean, Jason Pierce, initially established the Bible Institute at Raiwaqa with the goal of training leaders for the churches of Christ in Fiji and the South Pacific. Today, our program has graduates serving as elders, preachers, Bible class teachers, and evangelists with at least ten different congregations on five islands in three countries. While we are sad to see this work come to an end, our faculty and staff look forward to continuing to find additional ways to serve the churches of Christ in Fiji and the South Pacific.

BIBLE INSTITUTE @ RAIWAQA
(SUVA, FIJI)
An Extension Program of Bear Valley Bible Institute International
The Bible Institute at Raiwaqa (BIR) is intended to be an intensive training program in the Bible, Christian leadership, and evangelism for active members of the churches of Christ in the South Pacific. As such, its program of study is designed to be strenuous so that students will find themselves best equipped to live, teach, and share the gospel faith. BIR is a two-year, full-time Bible training program. During that time, students will participate in a total of forty-eight (48) courses covering ministry, doctrine, Biblical backgrounds, all sixty-six books of the Bible, and the use of technology in ministry. Courses will generally consist of thirty hours of in-class time, as well as assignments to be completed outside of the classroom. During class time, students will be expected to listen attentively to course lectures, participate in group discussion, and complete regular quizzes and major exams over the content of the course. Outside of class, students will be expected to read assigned tasks, complete relevant homework assignments, and prepare for quizzes and exams. Additionally, our students will be expected to participate in various evangelistic outreach efforts during their time in the program.
